According to the company, the motor has been tested in a host of extreme conditions, from Alpine settings to remote desserts.
This has been carried out as a means of ensuring drivers can expect the highest standards of reliability when they purchase the Focus, the carmaker claims.
Klaus Schuermanns, systems engineer at the manufacturer, described some of the plus-points associated with the model and touched upon its high-tech credentials.
"People are always asking us about the car," he explained.
Mr Schuermanns added that the vehicle's AC system is "great", which may impress those looking for a comprehensive driving experience.
Recently, car finance seekers might have noted that the brand announced 101 right-hand drive versions of the Focus RS500 edition sold out within days of its UK launch.
