Safety enhanced in Chevrolet motors

08/02/2012

Brits looking for a stylish new car but are also conscious of their insurance costs could find the Chevrolet Avevo is well suited to their needs.

The latest model in the range has been recognised with the 2011 best in class award in the Supermini market.

This was presented by the Euro New Car Assessment Programme in its annual class leader announcement, with the Chevrolet scoring 85 out of a possible 100 points.

Achievements in occupant protection were singled out as being particularly successful, winning 95 points for adults and 87 for children.

Brake assist and electronic brake force distribution complement six standard airbags connected to sensors mounted in the centre of the vehicle.

"We take safety very seriously at Chevrolet and this class-leading result for the New Chevrolet Aveo proves this entirely," commented managing director of Chevrolet UK Mark Terry.

The motor could be a good choice for those who have made a new year's resolution to be safer on the road, which is encouraged by the Institute of Advanced Motorists.ADNFCR-1597-ID-801287604-ADNFCR
