Saab 9-5 Saloon engine additions may inspire car finance deals

Those keen on car finance deals may be inspired by a double addition to the Saab 9-5 Saloon.
The motor is now available with two extra engines - the 190 hp 2.0TTiD and 180 hp 1.6T.
With the former, the Saab cross XWD all-wheeled drive system is now compatible for the first time with a diesel engine from the brand.
But petrol heads might be interested in the 180 hp 1.6-litre turbo product which is "among the most powerful series production engines in its displacement class", according to the company.
In addition, it can develop more than 112 hp per litre and can enable drivers to do 36.2 mpg, but speedster car finance customers might be more impressed that the vehicle can do 0-62 mph in 9.5 seconds with the new petrol engine.
The manufacturer launched the Saab 9-5 Saloon model in June and announced it was the start of a new era for the brand.
