Renault unveils new model line-up
27/01/2012
A revised Megane and improved specification on the Clio range are among the changes Renault has made to its model line-up for 2012.
The French marque has simplified its range for this year, focusing on seven core car and commercial vehicle models and placing greater emphasis on its Z.E. range of electric vehicles.
Its facelifted Megane will feature a choice of three new engines, while the Twingo and Scenic models are also being given styling overhauls this year.
Details on the updated Twingo were announced last month, with the company noting it features a new front end, as well as redesigned rear lights, bumpers and tailgate.
Each model will be available with a maximum of three trim levels in order to simplify the range and Renault has also confirmed six models, including the Modus, Laguna and Espace, have been withdrawn from the UK market.
The company also revealed its Clio IV - the first model to designed by Laurens Van Den Acker - will be revealed to the public later in the year.
