Peugeots a popular choice with Brits?
07/02/2012
Growing numbers of drivers in the UK could be opting for a Peugeot vehicle as their car of choice.
This is because the manufacturer has announced a 6.4 per cent increase in sales in January 2012.
It was noted this is a particularly impressive statistic, as overall new car sales remained static.
Fleet purchases were up 8.8 per cent and retail grew by 3.3 per cent, with the continued popularity of the 107 and 207 models cited as a driving factor in this trend.
Further success is expected, with the launch of the industry award-winning 3008 HYbrid4 and a restyled 107 expected later in the year.
Also available later in 2012 is the 208, which will receive its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Customers looking for an electric motor may wish to keep their eye on this event, as an advanced sports car concept dubbed the Infiniti Emerg-E is also expected to be unveiled at the occasion.
