Volvo has announced a new range of models that could tempt car finance customers looking for something sporty in time for summer, it has been suggested.
According to Auto Express, the Swedish manufacturer has boosted its range of high performance models by looking to the successes of its past.
The magazine notes that Volvo is taking "the spirit of its 850 and V70R models" and combining them into one large and sporty estate named the V70 R-Design.
The car, which will be available to car loans customers with a starting price of £26,745, will feature a lowered suspension, a new bodykit and will offer better road handling than its predecessors.
"While the engine remains untouched, the springs are 20mm shorter at the front and 15mm lower at the rear. Thicker anti-roll bars and tougher suspension bushes also deliver more accurate steering and better stability," the magazine confirms.
The entry-level model will be a 2.0-litre model available in arange of colours and the publication adds that fans of the manufacturer's XC90 can also expect a revised model to hit the forecourts soon.
