Following the news that Renault's Kangoo will cease production this year the van has been given a final award.
Professional Van & Light Truck magazine awarded the car the top prize in its Best Light Van category - which could interest those with car loans who are shopping for such a vehicle.
Commenting on the accolade, Renault UK's LCV brand manager Louise O'Sullivan said that even as the van approaches "its twilight period" it is good to see that the vehicle has remained a popular choice for many.
She added that the company hoped the new Kangoo Van would match the success of the old model and offer "unprecedented levels of comfort, practicality and quality".
"We'll be keen to see it not just hold onto the same title at next year's awards, but go one better by winning the Van of the Year award too."
Renault unveiled the new Kangoo Van at this year's CV Show, where it had the biggest stand it has ever had for the event, the Auto Channel reports.
