Now has never been a better time to obtain a car loan as one expert advises used car prices are the best they have been in some time.
According to Motor Trader, recent figures from EurotaxGlass have showed that increased levels of depreciation and a tighter, more competitive used car market has opened up a range of bargains for drivers with car finance.
One spokesman for the group said that used car prices were at their most favourable in years and added that consumers should be taking advantage of these conditions.
Adrian Rushmore, managing editor at EurotaxGlass, said: "Consumers [are] now more likely to find the model they want, at a price they can afford."
He added that further price cuts could be on the way, stating: "The average three-year-old car will lose around £700 more from its original new price in 2008 compared to 2007."
A recent article by Best Syndication's Simon Peyton said that car finance was becoming a simpler option for many, meaning more people could soon be taking advantage of the current used car market.
