Automobile manufacturer Volvo has revealed that its sales increased over the course of 2008.
The company stated that there has been a 20 per cent rise in sales - in contrast to a three per cent fall across the entire industry.
Car credit customers may be interested to learn that the company announced that it sold 21,155 units from January to July, while some 17,079 models were purchased by consumers over the same period in 2007.
Nick Connor, Volvo Cars UK sales director, commented that sales of the V70 and S8 models have contributed to the firm's success.
"We've experienced a high level of interest in the Volvo range this year and we are confident this strong performance will continue throughout the rest of 2008," said the firm.
This comes after Volvo Trucks recently announced a 14 per cent increase in vehicle deliveries during July.
