Drivers considering using car finance to buy a more economical model may want to take a look at a smart car, if the testimonials of one married couple are anything to go by.
Jason and Amanda Kearins have both bought one of the vehicles and they claim they are delighted with the savings they have made.
Mr Kearins opted for the open-top crossblade edition of the car, while his wife went for the limited edition two fortwo.
They state they had very different reasons for their choices.
Mr Kearins said he loved the open air experience offered by the crossblade, while Mrs Kearins said she had been impressed with the heated seats and air conditioning on her model.
However, they both agree they have made significant savings on fuel and road tax.
