A customer poll has ranked Skoda near the top of a list of cars that keep their owners happy on the road.
The survey, by JD Power & Associates, placed Skoda second to the Lexus and is the 13th year the manufacturer has appeared in the top five in the poll.
Customers taking part may have included those who bought their Skoda by looking into car finance and taking out a car loan.
The Skoda Octavia was placed overall fourth, which was hailed by the company's UK director as proof that the company valued customer satisfaction.
Robert Hazelwood added: "Through inventive design and the highest production standards, we aim to build cars that make our customers as happy as possible."
For the second year the Octavia also won the small family cars' section; in the supermini class the Fabia finished ninth overall.
What Car? Consumer magazine recently rated the Octavia highly for reliability, performance, ride, handling, space and running costs.
The two millionth Fabia was produced last month, according to Skoda, and has sold more than 63,500 so far this year.
