The new seat Ibiza will be available from showrooms in 28 days, as Seat gets ready for summer.
Seat's new five door Ibiza will be £300 cheaper than the company's current entry level model and comes with driver and passenger airbags, immobiliser, remote central locking, MP3-compatible CD player and electric windows.
The 1.2-litre supermini, which was unveiled in Barcelona in April, was awarded five stars in Ncap's adult occupant category making it one of the safest cars in its class.
Head of Seat UK Peter Wyhinny said: "The spectacular new Ibiza is the clearest sign yet that Seat is serious about putting enviable quality and state-of-the-art technology alongside sporting 'auto emocion' as the cornerstones of the Brand."
But the company isn't putting all its eggs in one basket and is adding enhanced options to its Altea, Altea XL and Alhambra range in the hope of boosting sales this summer.
