Seat Ibiza 'will have impressive residual value'

An impressive residual value has been predicted for the new Seat Ibiza 5dr, according to an independent source.

Three years or 36,000 miles after purchase, CAP New Monitor has remarked that the car will be worth around 43 per cent of what people are currently paying for it.

It could be that this high amount helps car credit customers put down money on a new vehicle should they decide to replace the Ibiza.

CAP New Monitor stated that the value is as good as any other is the supermini market, with manufacturer relations manager Martin Ward claiming it has "much-improved quality over the outgoing car".

"Much of the interior is as good as some more premium brands. This quality will certainly stand the test of time, and will make the Ibiza a very desirable used car for many years," said the official.

Produced by Seat since 1985, the Ibiza was originally introduced as the successor to the Fura.ADNFCR-1597-ID-18708472-ADNFCR
