The UKs largest parade of Mitsubishi Evolution cars will take place on the July 12th in an attempt to create a new world record.
The event will take place at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire and will be supported by Mitsubishi Motors.
Darin Frow, chairman of the Mitsubishi Lancer Register (MLR), which is a UK-based organisation for Evolution drivers and enthusiasts, said the record attempt came about when one of the MLR's members asked what was the largest number of Evolution's ever seen in one place.
He said: "That was a year ago, and since then the idea has captured the imagination and enthusiasm of everyone within the MLR and beyond."
More than 300 Evolutions are taking part in the event, with many expected to follow, including vehicles from Mitsubishi Motor's head office.
A Guinness world record adjudicator will oversee the event and ensure an instant decision on whether the event was successful.
The record attempt will coincide with the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
