People planning to take out a car loan to buy a used vehicle can now make use of a mobile phone service which may help them bag a bargain.
Once a driver has seen a motor they are interested in buying, they simply need to text the registration plate number and mileage to Exchange and Mart.
The company replies within minutes with three valuations for that model in good, average and poor condition.
Commenting on the used car market, Debra Healy from Exchange and Mart said there are plenty of bargains to be had at the moment as a result of the gloomy economic climate.
However, she warned buyers to be cautious.
"Anything that seems too good to be true probably is and the chances are you could be stung by buying a car that is at best dodgy and worst dangerous," she stated.
Meanwhile, Exchange and Mart recently stated it was down to dealers to rebuild consumer confidence by working to exceed expectations.
