British car manufacturer Breckland will uncover its latest sports car at London's Motorexpo 2008.
The Beira, a hand-built roadster with General Motor's (GM’s) tried and tested LS2 6-litre V8 engine, will be unveiled to the public at Canary Warf in June.
The dual-fuel car, which can produce just under 400bhp and has a top speed of 155mph, is expected to go on sale for an estimated £55,000 in November.
Mike Rawlings, director of Breckland Technology, told Motorexpo: "We didn't set out to reinvent the wheel with the Beira.
"The platform on which it is based is highly competent, and has been subject to intensive crash and safety tests, and as a great deal of the core development work has been done it has enabled us to keep costs far lower."
Based on GM's Kappa platform, the Beira will retain GM's doors, but Breckland engineers have remodelled the front and rear of the vehicle.
The car will also include a bespoke interior including air-conditioning and electric windows.
Breckland, which has its headquarters in Norfolk is part of Hong-Kong based multinational, Riche Holdings.
