People who take out car finance for the new Audi R8 V10 will be among the first motorists to own vehicles with headlamps which rely completely on light-emitting diodes, it has been reported.
The manufacturer explained the innovative design has been incorporated into the model's high and low-beam settings, as well as in its daytime running lights and indicators.
Audi said the new headlamps put it "light years" ahead of its rivals and increased the "visual drama" of the R8 V10.
Commenting on the innovation, Wolfgang Huhn from the company said: "Everyone who has seen these lights in action is not only astonished by the excellent output but also thrilled with the homogenous distribution of light and the agreeable daylight-esque colour."
In other news which may be relevant to car finance customers, Audi recently announced its A3 Black Edition model is due to arrive in showrooms across the UK in February - priced from £22,215.
