The British International Motor Show this week showcased the world's only electric vehicle which has been road certified and tested.
Among the features of the car, developed by Norwegian manufacturer Think, are its low emissions, including zero CO2 output, along with its cheap price and energy efficiency.
Furthermore, car credit customers may find the vehicle's battery - which can power the vehicle for 126 miles when fully charged - is a particularly appealing characteristic.
Speaking on behalf of Think, UK managing director Richard Blundell stated that the city car is a great vehicle both in terms of aesthetics and how cheap it is to run.
"Unlike the lower-range, electric quadricycles that have had limited success in the UK, the Think city is a real car which provides a realistic option for those motorists who want to drive a true zero emissions car," he said.
The first crude electric carriage, thought to be the genesis of the electric car, was developed by Robert Anderson in the 1830s.
