A TV star who features in one of this year's biggest movies has spoken out over his love for driving.
In a recent interview for the Times, star of hit US drama Lost and the upcoming summer blockbuster Speed Racer, Matthew Fox, said that ever since he was a small boy driving was a passion.
The newspaper notes that in real life Mr Fox drives an Acura - which is not unlike Honda's popular Accord - but that he would much rather be behind the wheel of something a little faster.
"I've been a car nut for as long as I can remember," he said. "I enjoy racing and have always loved to drive fast."
Speed Racer offers the actor the chance to do just that as he takes the role of Racer X, a driver who takes part in the futuristic and colourful race scenes that appear in the film.
The film is scheduled for release next month and is directed by the Wachowski brothers, the two men behind The Matrix trilogy.
