The new RX 450h from Lexus has debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
According to the manufacturer, hybrid technology will be taken to a new level next year when the RX 450h hits European showrooms in summer.
It will replace the current RX 250 petrol and RX 400h hybrid models and is set to cost from £36,273, Lexus said.
This could mean car finance is a viable option for those who want to lower their carbon footprint with a hybrid-powered vehicle.
It has "excellent" efficiency and fuel emissions, the manufacturer added.
Meanwhile, last month saw Lexus unveil its IS 250C model at the Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris.
The convertible has a V6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission and an "ultra-compact" roof design which unfolds in 20 seconds.
In addition, a large boot space and styling aimed to minimise wind turbulence complete the package, which is scheduled to go on sale next summer.
