People considering using car credit for a new 4x4 may want to take a look at the Renault Koleos, after the vehicle's success at a recent awards ceremony.
The model was named 4x4 of the Year in Planet 4x4 magazine's 2008 honours - as well as taking the title in the Compact SUV class and driving away with the Best Newcomer accolade.
Editor of the publication Alan Kidd said Renault had come out of nowhere and created the "most relevant" off-road vehicle in the UK.
He stated the Koleos set a new benchmark for other manufacturers to aspire to.
Commenting on the SUV, Plant 4x4s testers said: "It's breadth of talents is vastly impressive."
They added: "It's excellent to drive in all conditions and its convenience and usability put almost every other SUV in the shade."
Meanwhile, the new Renault Megane recently received the joint highest score ever achieved in the Euro Ncap safety crash tests.
