Kia has announced that it is "doing its bit" to reduce its impact on the environment by reducing emissions from several of its models.
In a move which could tempt car loans customers to buy a new Kia, the firm said its Picanto, Rio, cee'd and pro_cee'd models now have versions that produce fewer emissions.
The new models now fit within the 120g VED band B providing motorists with saving on car tax, while each car can travel 60mpg.
According to Kia, its Picanto models now all have four seats, which has had the effect of reducing overall weight and carbon emissions.
"This makes Kia’s smallest car not just kind to the environment but kind on your wallet too," the firm stated.
Last month, Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group was ranked among the world's top five largest automakers.
The list, compiled by Automotive News, showed that the firm currently outsells Honda, Nissan andFiat.
