Car finance customers looking to pick up an environmentally-friendly vehicle may consider the Ford Focus, after it was honoured at an awards show.
The model was given the Green Car of the Year award at the British International Motor Show this week.
It beat off competition from 23 other vehicles to gain the gong at the Greener Driving Pavilion at the exhibition.
BMW was also commended for its efforts in regards to environmentally-friendly driving with a special editor's award for the Efficient Dynamics technology it has developed.
"Fuel prices have certainly focused the consumers mind ... One thing is for sure, the choices available are expanding all the time and it's encouraging to see a clear pattern of change from the manufacturers," said Duncan McClure Fisher from Warranty Direct.
The British International Motor Show this week also featured the debut of Ford's Focus RS.
