Car credit customers may be interested to hear the Ford Focus has regained its crown as Used Car of the Year.
Judges for the Auto Express Glass's Guide Used Car Honours 2008 put its continuing success down to competitive pricing, the broad availability of second-hand models and the fact it is an entertaining drive.
This is the first time since the awards were established 11 years ago that the top prize has been retained.
It has also been revealed that the judges' decision was unanimous.
Commenting on the Focus, Jeff Paterson, chief editor at EurotaxGlass's, said: "It's ubiquity on our roads does nothing to dampen its desirability and it means that used car buyers have a wide range of examples to choose from."
This comes after Ford revealed it has received 1,000 advanced orders since previewing the new version of the car at the British International Motor Show in London earlier this year.
