Car loan customers with a Ford will be able to pick up their car sooner as Ford launches a new parts delivery service.
The new initiative ensures Ford customers will get urgent parts delivered to their dealership the same day or by 08:00 BST the next morning.
Ford's Daventry Parts Distribution Centre now operates a During the Day Delivery (3D) programmem, which uses 12 regional depots to meet the 08:00 deadline.
This means a dealer can order from 120,000 and receive their order before the start of the working day the next day.
John Cooper, Ford customer service division director, said: "Ford is the first volume manufacturer offering reliable same-day parts availability to all of its dealers nationwide."
There are typically 13,000 overnight deliveries made by Ford in the UK every day.
Ford's Galaxy made it into What Car?'s ten least reliable cars - alongside Volvo's C70 and the Audi TT and had a failure rate of 54 per cent.
The Galaxy cost on average £308 to repair at the end of 2005.
