A little Hollywood glamour comes to auction next month, although the cars on offer could be out of reach for most car loans customers.
The Ferrari: Leggenda e Passione auction which is organised by RM Auctions and Sotheby's and will see a range of star-studded Italian supercars go under the hammer.
Among the cars that will go on sale at the event, which takes place on May 18th in Maranello, Italy, is a 1961 Ferrari 250GT Spyder - originally purchased by Oscar winning actor James Coburn.
A fully restored 1951 Ferrari 212 Inter Coupe which belonged to Roberto Rossellini, director of Paisa and Europa '51, will also be available and the car is also said to have been used by his three-time Oscar-winner wife Ingrid Bergman.
Commenting on the event, RM Europe's managing director Max Girardo said: "Our upcoming Ferrari Leggenda e Passione auction is set to be a truly historic and international event - highlighting over 50 years of Ferrari history."
US AuctionInfo recently predicted that the 250GT Spyder owned by James Coburn could fetch anything up to $6 million (£3 million).
