A loyal Daihatsu customer who has bought five new cars from the Japanese auto-maker may be the company's biggest fan.
After test-driving the special-edition Copen Vivid at his local dealership, Central Motors Chard, John MacKay fell in love and immediately placed an order.
His obsession for everything Daihatsu became apparent when John returned to the dealership with his wife, Sue, to pick up their new car.
John said: "When we came to pick the Copen up, we saw the all-new, recently-launched Sirion in the showroom for the first time.
"I made the decision that day to buy one, and took delivery of my 1.3 S the month after."
After 18 months Sue started driving the Sirion and John replaced the Copen with a brand new Daihatsu Teiros.
In 2007 Sue took delivery of a Sirion to call her own, and the buying continued when John retired from the Army in 2008, buying Daihatsu's latest addition to its range the Materia.
The Daihatsu range starts at £7,995 with the Sirion super-mini, which was What Car's Car of the Year 2007, making it a great choice for car loans customers.
