A change in the way car finance customers are shopping may not necessarily be advisable in the long-term, it has been advised.
MSNBC reports that higher fuel prices and increased motoring costs mean that it is ever more important for drivers to make sure they leave the forecourts with the right model and such factors have led to a change in the way motorists shop.
However, Philip Reed, senior consumer advice editor at Edmunds.com, told the news provider that although many people are now in the market for a "smaller, more fuel-efficient" vehicle, this may not be the best approach.
"Whenever you have a lot of activity on one car category it doesn't favour the buyer," he advised.
Fiat was recently praised for its current range of special offers in an article for the Telegraph. The newspaper noted that the Italian car maker was offering efficient and affordable new cars with a host of competitive deals.
