A number of innovative technologies which aim to increase safety and improve the driving experience are set to hit the market soon, a new article has claimed.
According to Mike Waters of motors-merseyside.co.uk, the industry prides itself on being at the forefront with the latest developments and once new ideas are unveiled at international motor shows they can very quickly be available to new car shoppers.
He notes that some of the new cars - which could soon be available to car loans customers - include the new Ford Kuga, Alfa Romeo Spider and Volkswagen's Golf Hybrid and revised Scirocco.
In addition to the cars themselves, green technologies such as BMW's efficient dynamics and Mercedes' Bluetec have now hit the market and intelligent braking systems have also started to appear.
"There are even cars being developed that can pick up road markings and ensure that the driver stays in lane," he states.
BMW won the 2008 World Green Car Award for its use of Efficient Dynamics on the 118d model. The system cuts CO2 emissions levels, while retaining optimum fuel economy.
