There are a number of things that car finance customers can do from their home PCs to take advantage of the internet, one expert notes this week.
According to Laura Coffey of the St Petersburg Times, shopping for a new or used car online can not only save time but is also a cost-effective way of securing the best deal on a vehicle.
She recommends using online calculators and price guides to find the recommended prices for the vehicle you seek and adds that reviews from certain sites can help with any make and model decisions.
"Extensive pricing information and reviews are available for new and used cars through Kelley Blue Book, Edmunds.com, NADAguides.com and Consumer Reports," she advises.
Employing the services of a mechanic to inspect a potential purchase is also suggested as this is "worth the cost".
The AA is one of a number of companies that offer a vehicle inspection service to car finance customers - allowing bookings to be made online.
