A warning has been issued to motorists in Wycombe ahead of a major parking crackdown in the area, it has been reported.
Car credit customers may be interested to learn that the Buck Free Press has stated that Wycombe district council is to take over parking enforcement from the police from October 1st 2008.
It could be that this proves problematic for people who pick up convictions, as they may find that their car insurance policies become compromised if cover firms see them as a risk.
"There is a minority of motorists who seem to have little regard for road markings and signs and park wherever and however they like," commented local councillor Audrey Jones.
A similar warning has been given to motorists in south Wales, according to the South Wales Evening Post.
It has reported that some 230 drivers were given warning tickets before officials introduce a new enforcement scheme on Monday.
