Drivers using the roads in Coventry have been given the chance to take a free tyre check as part of a national road safety initiative.
The Fill Up With Air Roadshow has been set up both to help relieve pressure on the environment as well as to see people save money, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
Indeed, it may be that the scheme sees car finance customers become safer on the roads and helps them keep their car insurance policies low in price.
Maureen Johnson, road safety officer for Coventry city council, commented that the checks are "a really great opportunity for people to have a free tyre safety check".
The official added that she welcomes the scheme and hopes that similar ones are held in the city soon.
Meanwhile, visitors to the TyreSafe website can find ten easy-to-follow tyre safety lessons in order to keep their vehicle in good condition.
