During the excitement of last night's Champions League final, car loans customers were treated to the debut of Ford's latest crossover vehicle.
Sky Sports was the platform for the auto manufacturer to unleash its latest model, the Ford Kuga, on the general public - ahead of its official launch next month.
It is reported that the latest commercial was put together by award-winning Danish director Nicolai Fuglsig and was set to the music of a hotly-tipped French singer named Camille.
Previously Mr Fuglsig has had critical success with his promotions for Sony Bravia and Guinness, and Ford hopes its campaign for the Kuga will have been seen as "equally captivating".
"Given Kuga's unique look, the campaign was based around the question 'Who said we have to accept the ordinary?'," Ford said in a recent statement.
Following the debut of the advert, the Champions Legaue final stretched well into the night and included two periods of extra time and a penalty shoot-out which ultimately decided the game.
