A new survey which asked drivers - including those with car loans - their favorite songs to drive by has revealed its results.
The study, put together by elephant.co.uk, found that The Killers' Mr Brightside was the UK's favorite song for taking to the road followed by Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For A Hero and Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight.
Don McLean's American Pie, Guns N Roses' Paradise City and Talking Heads' Road To Nowhere - one of the top choices for men in the survey - also made an appearance.
"It was really interesting to see that the most modern song was the one to take the top spot," said elephant.co.uk managing director Brian Martin. "For a relatively new tune, it seems to have made quite an impact."
The study queried more than 1,000 motorists to find the "ultimate" song for driving.
The Killers' Mr Brightside features on their debut album, Hot Fuss.
