Customers wanting to get hold of Volkswagen's new 2.0-litre Scirocco can sign up to be among the first to drive one off the forecourt.
Volkswagen's coupe goes on sale on September 1st and has a starting cost of £20,940.
It is the most advanced coupe that the company has produced and allows drivers to alter the suspension, steering and throttle response depending on the type of journey.
The sporty coupe, available with a four-cylinder 2.0-litre petrol engine, will travel from 0-62mph in just over seven seconds and has a top speed of 146mph.
A diesel version of the Scirocco will be available in 2009, offering a marked improvement in fuel efficiency. Taking the vehicles fuel economy from 37.2mpg to 52mpg.
Some 11,000 people have already signed up to receive updates on the Scirocco at Volkswagen's website and expects to sell 3,350 cars this year.
The original Scirocco went on sale 34 years ago and the company sold more than 75,000 in the 19 years it was available.
