People considering taking out a car loan to buy a new car may be interested to hear the Fiat 500 has been voted the sexiest motor of 2008.
A poll of readers of women's motoring website evecars.com put the model in top place, followed by the Jaguar XF and the Mini Clubman.
Commenting on the winner of the award, editor of evecars.com Alex Jenner-Furst said: "The Fiat 500 is a great-looking supermini inside and out and is perfect for a city shopping trip, a weekend in the country or doing the school run in style."
She added that at just over £8,000, the car would not break the bank.
Meanwhile the Alfa Romeo MiTo which is due to be released in January also proved popular, topping the readers' Christmas wish list.
In other news which may be of interest to car finance customers, Citroen is due unveil a concept coupe at this year's Paris Motor Show.
The manufacturer described the Hypnos as an "elegant" cross-over vehicle.
