For those with car finance looking to spend wisely, new advice has emerged from Parker's Car Price Guide.
In a recent statement, the group has offered its opinions on some of the best bargains available in the new and used car market and suggests Toyota's Auris as a great option for those looking to get their hands on a well-priced family car.
It states that an entry-level version of the car can be picked up online for around £10,000 - in comparison with the manufacturer's list price of £12,645 - and adds that the T2 version of the car is equipped with air conditioning and central locking.
Also highlighted is the Citroen C8 people carrier, which the group states can be picked up at a good used price and the manufacturer's C6 luxury saloon, which is now on offer for under £28,000 - £10,000 less than its original list price.
A recent review for the New Zealand Herald suggested the "weird" and "wonderful" C6 was "impossibly cool" and is "just like big Citroens are supposed to be".
