Car finance customers dreaming of Ferrari ownership might be interested to hear about a new pre-owned initiative by some of the manufacturer's UK dealers.
Classic Driver reports this week that the latest Ferrari warranty-backed scheme could make owning a car that carries the legendary Italian badge that little bit more practical.
It is reported that buyers can expect a 12-month warranty accompanied by a 12-month Ferrari Roadside Assistance plan and prices start from around £60,000.
Among the models available are the 360 Modena, F430 Spider, 550 Maranello, and 599 GTB Fiorano, and according to Julian Harris of the HR Owen dealership in St Albans, the plan will offer "complete peace of mind" to new Ferrari drivers.
"We want [buyers] to enjoy the same level of safety and security on a pre-owned car as on a new car," he said.
"The cars are also given an extensive internal and external pre-sale preparation to bring them up to a condition appropriate to their age and mileage."
An upcoming Italian auction will take bids on a number of Ferraris, including one previously owned by Hollywood acting legend James Coburn.
