There has been a recorded increase in the number of visitors at the British International Motor Show (BIMS) this year.
Organisers have stated that some 472,300 attended the exhibition at London ExCeL over 12 days this summer - a rise of 57,300 or 14 per cent compared to the previous show.
Displayed at the event were a number of high-powered vehicles from manufacturers all around the world, with most likely to be out of the reach of even the most generous car credit deal.
The "wide range" of attractions and features at the exhibition was hailed by marketing director Kirsty Perkinson.
She commented that the show's triumph was "not only [due] to the quality of the global debuts and the support of such a fantastic collection of motor manufacturers, but also to the wide range of interactive attractions and family-friendly features".
Mini used this year's BIMS to showcase its Mini John Cooper Works hatchback.
