The lessons learnt from road safety issues of the past are to be broached in a conference set to be held next year.
Road Safety: What Have We Learnt? is to be held at the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool from February 23rd to 25th by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Car credit customers looking to stay safe on the road could benefit from attending the event, while it may also help them preserve their car insurance policy no-claims bonuses.
RoSPA head of road safety Kevin Clinton commented that the Britax-sponsored exhibition will also feature a forum to discuss prime road safety issues.
"We must particularly consider the fact that improvements have not been experienced evenly by all road users and some groups have fared better than others," he said.
Department for Transport statistics shows that 2,943 people were killed on roads in the UK in 2007.
