Despite the credit crunch, there are still good car finance deals to be found, the RMI National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) has claimed.
According to the group, showrooms are still displaying a wide range of good-value motors and buyers will find a variety of payment plans to suit most budgets.
Director of NFDA Sue Robinson said: "Following the September plate change, dealers are keen to make sure that consumers get a good deal on a new car."
Meanwhile, recent statistics from the Finance and Leasing Association revealed there has been an increase in the volume and value of finance sold in showrooms since the beginning of 2008.
During the first half of the year, new car finance penetration rose from 47.2 per cent to 50.7 per cent, it reported.
In other news, NFDA recently reported the credit crunch has encourageddealers to evaluate more closely the benefits of manufacturer partnerships.
